MENTORING

Mentoring is provided for all TCU students that are interested in heath research, including connecting researchers to TCU students. Faculty mentors connect with students through email, video chat, phone call, or Zoom.

TCU Faculty and Professional Mentors
The Aseto’ne Mentoring program is seeking mentors involved in health and biomedical fields to share their experiences and offer educational and career development encouragement, counsel, and insight to students. After completing the application, you will be matched with a student and meet with them on a regularly bases to guide and support their journey.  Become a mentor

Mentees
The Aseto’ne Mentoring program works like having an elder on call for all kinds of advice. After filling out the application information, you will be matched with two different types of mentors, a faculty or Native professional mentor and a peer mentor. They will both connect with you through email, phone, and/or videoconferencing depending on your agreed upon preferences. Your mentor and peer mentor are your resource for academic, self-development, and career advice. They will be your cheerleaders, a guide, and a resource. Everyone needs a mentor. Peer Mentors
The Aseto’ne Mentoring program is seeking peer and near-peer mentors to play an essential role in supporting students through their educational endeavors. After completing the application, you will be matched with a student and meet with them on a regularly bases to guide and support their journey. Peer mentors need to have an interest or experience in biomedical and behavioral health research and be able to meet regularly with their assigned mentee(s). Become a peer mentor!
