The ongoing global pandemic continues to alter the lives of TCU students, Tribal Colleges and Universities, and Tribal communities with short-term, long-term, and permanent impacts. As TCUs continue to respond to the unique needs of their Tribal communities, AIHEC commits to supporting the TCUs during and beyond the global pandemic with specific COVID-19 policy and advocacy.

New Study Reveals the Impact of COVID-19 on Tribal College Students
The American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) has released findings of a broad survey of tribal college and university (TCU) student experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. The first study of its kind, the survey posed an array of questions to nearly 500 returning TCU students, focusing on persistence, online learning, and physical and mental wellbeing.
